I am a singer/songwriter from Cleveland, Tennessee. The music on my site was written by me and either performed by me, friends or studio musicians.

My musical journey began at the age of 12, learning to play the guitar from my best friend Tommy Deane. We spent countless hours in the basement of my home playing songs by the Beatles and groups from the 60s.

As a teenager I played in a small group, The Good Guys. We played local dances, parties and competitions like Battle of the Bands. We appeared on BASH a show that aired on a local tv network.

Later, along with some new friends the group The Electric Hour Glass was formed.

In 2015, I connected with numerous music professionals, pitching my lyrics and songs.

In 2016, Tennessee Spring, I song I wrote that my friend Lee Jordan put music and vocals to, was assigned critical acclaim by NSAI, Nashville Songwriters Association International’s songwriters contest.

In 2018,  Exit 10, Tennessee Spring and Baptize Me received reviews from Gerald Crabb, noted writer who has written 46 top 10 hits as well as 26 number 1 hits nationally.

In early 2019, Exit 10 and The Dreamer (Tonic and Gin) were entered in the NSAI, CMT and Martin Guitar and Strings song contest in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Leaving Macon” was a project with Lee Jordan, performed by Dirt Road Social Club, Monticello, Georgia and featured Ken Sanvidge on vocals. Tracks were laid along with vocals and introduced on social media as well as the FM airwaves.

On March 30, 2019, WYLB-FM in Livingston Al/Meridian Ms featured “Tennessee Spring” on their Song Gallery program and podcasted worldwide.

On April 27, 2019, "Leaving Macon" performed by Dirt Road Social Club, featuring Ken Sanvidge was featured on WLYB-FM.

In early 2019, musician Rob MacLeod, StartUp Music Mentors, a music consulting group in Dublin Ireland, recorded an album, Red Roses On A Windowsill, a collection of my POP/Easy listening music and will be available in  2020.

Two of the songs along with videos, Then She'd Know and Sing A Lullaby have been released on social media and have gained interest with over 30,000 views from fans all over the world. The third single and video is scheduled to be released by summer.

Recently I won the "Most Promising Traditional Country Songwriter of the Year" award for Exit 10, through Volunteer State Country, Gospel, Bluegrass Music Organization, VSCGBMO, for 2019. This award elevates me to the North American Country Music  Association International, NACMAI, to be held in the spring of 2020, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
